Esther, my college gf, currently in Indonesia.
Joanne, my ex-bf sister, currently in Singapore.
Ida, my uni gf, currently in Australia.
Vallery, my primary school gf, currently in Finland.
These girls have sketched and colored some part of my life. Unlike some friends that come and go, these girls have stayed with me (in their heart and mind) even though at some point in life we have lost touch for many months or years. Our friendships endured the test of time.
None of them lives near me now and irregular phone calls, e-mails, IM and a few cards here and there, somewhat fill and bridge the friendship gap.
I wish I have a magical wand with me right now. A gentle wave is all that it takes for me to be there with them.
I would really love to have a nice afternoon tea with each of them.
Sipping tea in pretty dresses, laughing and giggling at the thought of our past together, sharing our funny baby/kids stories (they are with their fathers of course ;) ) and shopping buys, while savoring cakes and pastries, not worrying about the kilos and calories...
Oh fairy god mother, where art thou magical wand?
