Time flies

It seem like it was only yesterday...
that KS and I were talking about starting a family together;
that I first held baby Ian on his full month dinner party;
that we took care of baby Jayden for half day when baby Jordan was born;
that we jokingly said we will name our baby according to the city he/she will be made in since we did a lot of traveling in the past few years;
that KS drove out immediately to the nearest Kroger to get TWO digital pregnancy tester kits when I tested positive on the cheap lab tester strip;
that I cried when we had our first glimpse of our baby on our first ultrasound session;
that we bought the first pink onesie for our baby girl.
This week, I'm in my week 35. Less than 5 weeks to go for us.
We are anxious and excited, and we can't wait to hold, cuddle and kiss our baby K.

The amount of (gifts of) love we received on our baby shower party last Saturday.
Gifts are still pouring in till this day. We received a lovely parcel from CA yesterday. <3
We are really touched and overwhelmed with all the gifts of love pouring all over from our family and friends!

Dearest mommy's baby girl,
Do you know that when mommy was young, grandma loves to tie mommy's hair with different ribbons and flowers? Mommy has always had long hair till mommy was 18 when mommy decided to cut mommy's hair for a change. :) There were no objection from grandma then. Grandma only said "dont regret it". But mommy did. :)
Grandma has always like to dress mommy and ahyi (aunt) and style our hair. Every Chinese new year, birthday and Christmas, grandma will dress us in pretty dresses, style our hair with ribbons or flowers and take tons and tons of pics of us. Mommy still remember clearly that before every photo shoot (taken by grandpa) grandma will make sure our dress is "right" and our hair is tied properly. :) Grandma will spank us lightly on our butts if we stand crookedly or scratched and messed up our hair.
I guess mommy has been busy with mommy's life happenings that mommy never once thought of these little special moments shared between mommy and grandma. 30 weeks ago today life as i knew it changed forever. It is when mommy has you growing in mommy's tummy that mommy starts to remember how sweet and how warm mommy's growing life was. Back then, mommy's growing life was simple, we didn't do a lot that cost a lot yet mommy and family were still making great memories together. :)
Grandma is VERY strict with mommy and ahyi, but she has always been a super loving mom to us. We were very fortunate to have such wonderful grandma as our mommy, who has given us so much love and care (and styling AND great FOOOOD!) until this very day. And yes, grandma still continues to style us. lol. She still ask mommy and ahyi to wear less jeans and wear dresses more often. And in fact, grandma bought those "over sized" third trimester dresses for mommy and complains mommy never wear them. :P (Grandma, it's not because mommy doesn't like or doesn't want to wear them. They are waaayyy tooo big!) Well, anyway, that's your loving grandma baby girl. The very grandma that has done a good job in providing mommy and family a happy and warm family environment and in bringing all of us up good.
Looking back at all those pics and reminiscing those great memories, mommy really enjoyed every moment spent with grandma. And the styling too of course..... :)
Dearest mommy's baby girl,
Mommy hopes mommy can be as good as grandma in bringing you up. :) Mommy hopes that mommy will be able to provide you and your siblings that loving, tender, happy and caring home that mommy have always grown up in, with the help of your daddy. :) And makes little sweet wonderful memories each day with you and daddy. We'll start off with lots of "styling" from mommy and photographing from daddy ok? (oh... probably some styling from grandma too! haha..) And lastly, mommy hopes that baby girl and mommy will always remain happily close like best friends, just like how happily close mommy is to grandma. ♥
Love you lots our baby girl. ♥

Baby girl must grow healthy, strongly and happily ok? (Mommy bet you are since daddy always entertain mommy and baby with his jokes and laughs. Silly daddy. :) )
